As they say, if you are too comfortable, it's time to move on! Terrified of what's next? You are right on track!
Yes, I am that "crazy kid on the block" trying to set up a technology based start-up "Nanosafe Solutions". Won the prestigious Biotechnology Ignition Scheme (BIG) grant with seed funding sponsored by BIRAC, DBT, GoI to demonstrate the proof of concept.
Current work focuses on developing and manufacturing antimicrobial water containers and bottles that help to keep stored water safe from microbes for upto 10 days.
Suitable for underprivileged population who have to walk a 30 min round trip to get their supply, hence tend to store water for prolonged periods. And also meant for use at homes, offices, hospitals and schools. Makes a great corporate gift too!
Not to brag about it but it is the first grade of polymer nanocomposite to be commercialised in India!
And did I tell you that the antimicrobial technology was developed by me as part of my doctoral research program at IIT Delhi with National Award winner in polymer nanocomposites Prof. Mangala Joshi as my supervisor? And that she is my co-founder too?

Wanderlust is in my veins, big time! Made me end up in Stuttgart, Germany as a DAAD scholar during my Master's trying to solve some industrial issues in glass epoxy composites. Well, that 30 countries below 30, well, ticked off my bucket list!
Besides bulldozing my brain to nanofy the world, I have active interest in public speaking, actually any form of stage presence entralls me! So does adventure sports, writing and photography! Was a professional classical dancer too, long back!
And a big time optimist!
